KAYLA

Veterinary Assistant

Kayla is a Veterinary Assistant with three years of experience in veterinary medicine. She first joined Veterinary Wellness Partners as an intern in June 2026 and officially became part of the team at the end of July. We’re excited to have her here!

Kayla attended Fairless High School and RG Drage, where she began her veterinary technician education. She then attended Ohio State ATI for Dairy Cattle Production and Management and is currently finishing her schooling to earn her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology.

One of Kayla’s favorite things about veterinary medicine is that she enjoys client education. She loves being able to help owners better understand their pets’ health and care. She also enjoys seeing cases through from beginning to end—whether it’s something simple, like watching an allergy improve, or a more critical case—and seeing how happy owners are when their pets are feeling better again.

In addition to her veterinary education and experience, Kayla is also certified in artificial insemination through Cobra Select Sires, giving her a unique skill set and experience with a variety of animals.

Kayla has loved animals from a very young age, and her favorite animals are dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, kayaking, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She and her fiancé also share a special hobby—they own sheep together!

If you asked Kayla to describe herself in three words, she would choose outgoing, creative, and adventurous.

Most importantly, Kayla wants every client to know that she treats every pet like they’re her own. She strives to make both pets and their people feel safe, heard, and cared for every time they visit.
