Registered Veterinary Technician

Emily is a Registered Veterinary Technician with seven years of experience in veterinary medicine. She graduated from Cuyahoga Community College in 2021 with an Associate of Applied Science degree and is a Registered Veterinary Technician licensed by the State of Ohio. Emily joined Veterinary Wellness Partners in May 2026, and we’re excited to have her on our team!

Emily has a wide range of professional interests, including both large and small animal anesthesia, surgical nursing, radiology, and exotic animal medicine. While she enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, her favorite part of the job is working with horses.

Her love of animals began at a young age while growing up on a small farm, where she cared for her own goats, horses, dogs, and cats. That lifelong connection with animals ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Emily especially enjoys helping clients better understand animal care. She finds it incredibly rewarding to know that the information and guidance she provides can help both the animal and their owner build a better relationship moving forward.

At home, Emily has a special companion of her own—a tri-paw rescue Toy Poodle named Pippi Longstocking! When she’s not working, Emily enjoys cooking, baking, playing piano, reading, and visiting the zoo on her days off. She also has a pretty unique experience under her belt: she has performed anesthesia on a Patagonian mara!

Emily’s favorite animal is, unsurprisingly, the horse. If she had to describe herself in three words, she would choose smart, easy-going, and curious.

Emily says, “I have a lifelong love of animals that led me into the veterinary field, and that continues to make it worth coming to work every day.”
