Opened in 1956, the Orrville Veterinary Clinic, Inc. offers state-of-the-art medical and surgical care to companion and farm animals in Wayne and surrounding counties. Now incorporated as a multi-veterinarian practice, and operating as a full service facility, Orrville Veterinary Clinic, Inc. seeks to provide high-quality health and wellness services to assist animals in living longer, more productive lives. Our kind and caring hospital team is dedicated to providing the most current, comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients. We achieve this goal through regular continuing education and training programs for all members of our healthcare team.

In 2008, the estate of Dr. Tom Saurer transferred ownership of the Animal Hospital of Seville/Wadsworth and A & B Animal Hospital in Barberton to Orrville Veterinary Services, Inc. The facilities have been renamed Seville Wadsworth Veterinary Clinic and Akron Barberton Veterinary Clinic.

The seven doctors at Orrville Veterinary Clinic, Inc. are all graduates of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and have over 150 years of combined experience. Although each doctor has a special area of interest, they all share a commitment to providing quality care to their patients. The skillful and knowledgeable staff strives to offer the optimal course of diagnostic and treatment procedures for all patients while staying consistent with the clients’ wishes and financial means.

Veterinarians

Dr. Greg A. Roadruck serves food animal and equine clients. He joined the Orrville Veterinary Clinic in 1980. Dr. Roadruck is active in the community and has been the school board president since 1994. He and his wife, Carolyn, have two adult daughters, Allison and Lindsay, and 2 cats, Polly and Sophie.

Dr. Melvin D. Wenger's veterinary interests include food animal medicine and surgery and small animal orthopedics. Dr. Wenger has worked at Orrville Veterinary Clinic since 1981. He enjoys being with his family, golfing, and traveling. He and his wife, Mim, have 4 children and 2 sons-in-law. They live outside of Orrville with their Welsh Corgi, Maddie.

Dr. William M. Yost provides services for food animal and small ruminant clients. He has a Masters Degree in Nutritional Physiology from Iowa State University. Dr. Yost began his employment with the Orrville Veterinary Clinic in 1982. He and his wife, Donna, are the parents of three children and the proud grandparents of two. They have a dog, Wendell, and a cat, Milton.

Dr. Jeffrey R. Fink has divided responsibilities between small animal medicine/surgery, equine and food animal clients. Dr. Fink joined the Orrville Veterinary Clinic in 2002. He and his wife, Beth, are kept busy with their four children and farm outside of Dalton.

Dr. Judy S. Jackwood has been a part of our practice since 2003 and concentrates on small animal medicine and surgery. She enjoys gardening, reading, walking, and spending time with her two adult children, Kristen and Ryan. Judy lives in Wooster with her dog, Macy, and 2 cats, Skittles and Madden. Judy hopes to train Macy to become a Canine Good Citizen and therapy dog.

Dr. Gabriel E. Middleton serves bovine, equine, small ruminant, and small animal clients in the area. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in June 2008. He currently resides outside of Orrville with his wife, Megan, and dog, Piper. Dr. Middleton enjoys spending time with family, hunting, and watching football (mainly Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes).

Dr. Marissa Hofstetter's veterinary interests include small animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. She is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Marissa enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, gardening, traveling, and watching Ohio State football. She and her husband, Kyle, reside in Kidron with their dog, Scarlet, and cats, Ada & Levi.

Registered Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants

Bobbie Jo Paraskos is a Registered Veterinary Technician and has worked for the Orrville Veterinary Clinic since 1993 in a variety of positions. Currently, she is the Inventory Manager and oversees Public Relations. BJ and her husband, Dave, have two college-aged children, Peter and Mary Leigh. Their empty nest is completed with two dogs, Polo and Bella, and three cats, Gus, Miss Kitty, and Daisy.

Jenn Brown is the head Registered Veterinary Technician and has worked at the Orrville Veterinary Clinic since 1998. She assists the doctors with anesthesia, appointments, and specializes in orthopedic and equine surgeries. Jenn has been showing Appaloosa horses since she was 4 years old. In her spare time, Jenn and her husband, Kyle, race dirt track with their modified and enjoy spending time with their boxer, Harley.

Amy Raifsnider is a Registered Veterinary Technician and has worked full-time since 2006. She is the head technician at our Akron Barberton Veterinary Clinic. Amy enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Amy lives with her two cats, Cleo and Felicia, in Orrville.

Amanda Bell is a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She has been working at Orrville since 2005 and enjoys surgical assisting in small animal orthopedic surgeries. She currently resides in Rittman. Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and watching her niece, Olivia.

Becky Schenk is a Veterinary Assistant but is currently pursuing her veterinary technician degree. She has been a part of our team since 2007. Becky and her husband, Seth, enjoy remodeling their home, riding 4-wheelers, and spending time with family. They live outside of Smithville with their daughter Shelby and 3 cats.

Jessica Stewart has two dogs, a beagle and a cocker spaniel, a cat and a horse, all whom she loves dearly. In addition to being a Veterinary Assistant, she also does professional pet sitting on the side. She plans on attending Tri-C to continue her education as a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Front Office and Administrative

Misty Hostetler is the Practice Manager of the Orrville Veterinary Clinic. She has been employed here since 2003 and is currently in the process of becoming a certified practice manager. Misty lives in Wooster and enjoys spending time with her husband, Rodney, daughter, Jillian, and cat, Nit Wit.

Diane Nolt is the Office Manager at the Orrville Veterinary Clinic and has been employed here since 1987. She loves spending time with her 3 cats, Rosie, Lilly & Herbie. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, baking, and traveling to lighthouses with her husband, Ron.

Tara Monahan has been a Client Service Specialist since January 2005. Tara lives in Wadsworth with her husband, Art, and their spoiled dachshund, Dublin, spunky Boston Terrier, Delaney, and two pampered cats, Maggie and Libby. In their spare time they enjoy renovating and landscaping their home, cooking for family and friends, and going to flea markets and car shows.

Ben Imhoff has been Maintenance Supervisor of the Orrville Veterinary Clinic since 2009. Ben lives in Rittman with his wife Linda. He has three grown children and enjoys spending time with his granddaughter.

Alana Hanzie is the office manager at our Seville Wadsworth Veterinary Clinic and has been employed since March 1998. She enjoys flower and vegetable gardening, cooking, traveling, and watching sports. She and her husband, Jeff, reside in Creston with their three Chihuahuas, Chi Chi, Nina, and Lela. They have 2 adult daughters, Jessica, who lives in Cleveland and Julia, who lives in Wooster.

Becki Steele is a Client Services Specialist and works mostly at Seville Wadsworth Veterinary Clinic. She has been employed here since August 2008. She and her husband, Scott, reside in Rittman with their cat, Mad Max, and dog, Maggie. She loves being a mom and helping others.

Anne Weiser started working in 1996, first as a Client Services Specialist and now as the manager of Orrville Pet Spa. Anne also answers the phone after-hours for Orrville Vet clinic in the evenings and on the weekends. Anne enjoys fishing, hiking in the woods, and lattes from Starbucks. She lives in North Lawrence with her husband, Keith, daughter, Jaime, and 2 labs, Bubba & Hank.
